About the Role:
We are looking for an Assistant Manager with a sharp understanding of fintech ecosystems, digital financial products, and real-time operational risk. This role is embedded in our core operations team and will act as a tactical link between product delivery, compliance, and customer success, helping scale both infrastructure and internal processes as we grow.
Key Responsibilities:

Operational Ownership: Manage day-to-day fintech operations, including digital KYC/KYB workflows, transaction dispute resolution, and escalation processes across payment rails (UPI, IMPS, ACH, etc.).

Process Optimization: Design, iterate, and implement operational playbooks that ensure speed without compromising regulatory compliance or system integrity.

Data-Driven Execution: Monitor key KPIs (e.g., failed transactions, user drop-off during onboarding, fraud triggers) and lead actionable reviews with product and tech teams.

Regulatory Coordination: Liaise with internal compliance officers to ensure timely SAR filings, audit responses, and adherence to RBI/SEC/FINRA guidelines (as applicable to your market).

Vendor & API Integration Oversight: Evaluate, test, and onboard new service providers (e.g., KYC, credit scoring, payments gateway APIs), ensuring minimal downtime and high-quality integration.

Customer Experience Efficiency: Partner with customer success leads to reduce response times and improve service levels for high-value or high-risk accounts.

Cross-Team Collaboration: Serve as the connective tissue between engineering, legal, and customer operations during incidents involving transaction latency, system outages, or fraud cases.
Required Qualifications:

3–5 years of experience in fintech or financial services, preferably in roles intersecting operations, risk, and product.

Hands-on experience with at least one major fintech domain (lending, payments, neobanking, crypto, etc.).

Familiarity with transaction lifecycle monitoring, A/B testing of ops processes, and tools such as SQL, Tableau, Postman, or Jira.

Understanding of digital compliance obligations (e.g., AML/CFT, GDPR, PCI-DSS).

Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional coordination during operational escalations or audits.

Experience working in a fast-paced, API-driven environment where agility and documentation are equally prioritized.
Nice to Have:

Exposure to building or scaling internal tools for operations (e.g., dashboards, ticket triaging, fraud alert systems).

Previous interaction with regulators or third-party auditors.

Comfort navigating ambiguity in rapidly shifting regulatory and product landscapes.
