Job Overview
We’re building a next-gen personal finance experience—automated, intuitive, and rooted in real-time behavioral insights. As an App Developer on our fintech platform, you’ll work at the intersection of seamless UX and secure, scalable architecture. You’ll be joining a lean team of product-focused engineers developing native and cross-platform solutions that power digital wallets, credit optimization tools, and adaptive financial planning experiences.
You won’t be optimizing buttons on a screen. You’ll be architecting trust, security, and clarity into an app that helps users take back control of their finances.
Key Responsibilities
-
Implement advanced app features (e.g., transaction intelligence, biometric authentication, real-time data visualizations) using Swift/Kotlin and/or React Native.
-
Collaborate closely with product and data science to translate financial models into mobile-first workflows.
-
Ensure data integrity and security for sensitive financial information, including encryption-at-rest and secure API access.
-
Design custom UI components that simplify complex financial data (loan breakdowns, credit trajectory, goal-based planning).
-
Run profiling and performance optimization for fast, glitch-free user interactions.
-
Build automated test coverage for all major app pathways (Jest, Detox, XCTest, Espresso).
-
Participate in regular threat modeling and code audits in coordination with our security team.
-
Support a CI/CD pipeline optimized for mobile releases, including staged rollouts and crash analytics.
Qualifications
Must-Have:
-
3+ years of experience building and shipping native or hybrid mobile apps in production (Fintech or high-regulation domains preferred).
-
Proficiency in either Swift (iOS) or Kotlin (Android); React Native a strong bonus.
-
Deep understanding of offline-first architecture and local caching strategies (e.g., Realm, Room, SQLite).
-
Familiarity with OAuth2, JWT, and biometric authentication protocols.
-
Experience working with financial data, transaction categorization, or time-series data rendering.
-
Demonstrated ability to work within tight feedback loops and iterate on MVPs quickly.
-
Prior experience working with feature flags, remote config tools, and A/B testing platforms.
Nice-to-Have:
-
Exposure to Plaid, Stripe, or similar financial data providers.
-
Experience with regulatory requirements such as PCI-DSS or SOC 2 compliance.
-
Knowledge of behavioral analytics tools (e.g., Mixpanel, Amplitude) for app usage insights.
-
Contributions to open-source fintech libraries or community tooling.
